Puerto Del Carmens' 'Blue Flag' rated beach, 'Playa Blanca', or 'Playa Grande' as its known locally, is the best on the whole island and offers a host of sporting activities, from scuba diving and wind surfing to sport fishing. Of course if you prefer to enjoy beach life from the comfort of a sun lounger then you shouldn't have any problems, as the beach is 6km (approx. 4 miles) long.
